Jenny founded Lightheory Studio after 12 years of experience within a rich and diverse range of lighting disciplines including artisan manufacture, bespoke commercial manufacturing and architectural lighting design and consultancy. 
Having studied both Fine Art and Furniture Design at University in Manchester Jenny specialised in bespoke lighting for her graduate show garnering attention from private galleries. She was approached to collaborate on a solo exhibition following which she spent several years producing limited edition handmade bespoke fine lighting pieces for private clients before moving into specialist lighting manufacture in London. This early desire to build personal and collaborative relationships with every client is something Jenny has carried through into every aspect of her design career.

Jenny founded Lightheory Studio after 9 years of design practice in London England, working under some of the most respected practices in the world. She began her career under the tutelage of world renowned lighting designers Arnold Chan, Gerardo Olvera and Colin Ball and honed her skills working on luxury prestigious projects globally, gradually gaining a reputation as a respected industry specialist in her own right.  Jenny founded her own studio in 2020 to continue to build on her core values of a truly bespoke and tailored service with aesthetics, beauty and innovation at the core of every design.

Jenny specialises in projects requiring a high level of aesthetic sensibility and bespoke design including luxury hospitality, hotels, resorts and spas, private residences, members clubs, boutique and luxury retail and specialist art galleries. Jenny has also translated some of the magic that makes these projects unique into more commercial areas of the industry, applying the same code of excellence to large scale commercial residential developments and scalable retail and hospitality roll-outs.

With a truly international career, Jenny has collaborated on prestigious projects globally and has a real passion for providing designs that speak of their location and setting. From the glamour of Paris, New York or Tokyo to the local aesthetic of a remote Thai island or the grasslands of the Serengeti every project is given the unique approach it deserves. 
Jenny’s drive for creativity, attention to detail and keen eye for aesthetics has led her to delivering many notable domestic and overseas award winning projects including Point Yamu resort for Como Hotels, Four Seasons Lodge Serengeti Tanzania, Chiltern Firehouse Hotel, Nobu Hotel Shoreditch London, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel New Jersey and The Stratford Hotel London. 

Her designs and ethos are continuously inspired and influenced by a lifelong passion for art, photography, literature, design history and antiques.
